Amorphis, Epica, Belphegor, Turisas, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Finntroll, Tristania, Tyr, Draconian and many others…
The festival is situated in the beautiful bend of the river Morava outside the city of Hodonín, near Rohatec village. It’s therefore very close to both Slovakian and Austrian borders.
The area, which formerly served as a military compound, is currently adjusted for cultural purposes. Its undeniable advantage, aside from being located in the countryside beyond residential areas, is also a large reinforced area for the audience, and hangars, which will undoubtedly become appreciated in the case of rain. The area’s size enables the erection of comfortable festival facilities, with a camping site in the immediate proximity of where the festival itself takes place. Needless to say, you can expect a number of stands with refreshments, stylish merchandise, but also workshops, contests and other attractions.
Our philosophy, however, isn’t based in the maximum quantity of visitors, but rather in the quality of music and the experience of the festival itself, and for that reason, the area’s capacity is limited. We want to provide our visitors with enough space for enjoying the music and establishing new friendships. Nobody wants the trip from their tent to their favourite band to be a jostle through the crowd and to spend the three days surrounded with bodies.
You can use the festival’s shuttle service to reach the area as well as for later excursions to the non-metal civilization. The shuttle service will be free of charge for the festival’s participants, and its route will connect all the most important places in Hodonín, so you can visit local restaurants, stores, the swimming pool, or the ZOO in your free time. Simply a weekend of leisure and metal…
