Renamed to Kavarna Rock Fest, this year's Kavarna festival (already at the 5th edition) is set to take place between July 23rd and 25th, and will have more than 10 bands in its line-up.

Initial line-up

So far, the schedule is as follows:

July 23rd: Tarja Turunen and Doro Pesch, supported by Epica, Leaves' Eyes and Atrocity.

July 24th: Kreator, Sodom and Korpiklaani.

July 25th: Accept, Annihilator, Primal Fear and Voivod.

Most bands will play for the first time in Bulgaria, and all of them, apart from Accept, will be in Kavarna for the first time. More bands are expected to confirm their presence soon.

Tickets for the Kavarna Rock Fest 2010 are already for sale in the network, Office1 Superstore, M-Tel, Orange Center, Fonex, and Tehnomarket Multirama. The price of three tickets for the festival will be 90 BGN (~46€), and a one-day ticket is 40 BGN (~20€).

The festival is organised by the Municipality of Kavarna and Loud Concerts.

For the first time, Kavarna Rock Fest 2010 will have its own Rock Radio — the first of its kind in Bulgaria.

Along with the new name, Kavarna Rock Fest 2010 also boasts a new look and a true Rock Festival atmosphere — with many more bands in the program, a lot more fun, unique emotions and sea spirit! Many prizes — invitations, t-shirts, meet & greet with the bands, and many other opportunities for fun are reserved for the fans and guests.

By tradition, a visitor of Kavarna Rock Fest 2010 will leave the sea with a brand new Harley Davidson bike. The only condition for participation in the raffle for the bike is owning a three-day ticket for the festival.
